Meet Grant Johnson

Grant Johnson is a land manager, agroecoclogical coach and educator based on the Central Coast of California. Inspired by the potential that can occur when people work in harmony with the landscape, Grant has dedicated his work to nurturing a greater relationship between person and place.

He has worked extensively in natural resource management with pioneers in the agroecological and soil-health space. With a background in biology and chemistry, Grant's hands-on experience and deep understanding of holistic management and agroecological systems, equips him with the knowledge necessary to assist ranchers, farmers, and land managers to achieve their goals and improve the health and function of their land.

Grant provides assistance rooted in sustainability, resilience and practical application through coaching, speaking engagements, or hands-on mentorship.

  • Grant is interested in fostering healthy, functional agroecological systems. Grant has experience in natural resource management and grazing systems and enjoys working in other contexts such as vineyards, orchards and cropping systems.
