Russell Heald
Managing Director - Heald Farm
Russell is an Organic, Regenerative Dairy Farmer and Regen Coach with a passion for soils, cows, people and diversity.
Russell adopted a once a day milking system after compounding stress had shown him that something had to change. They’d reached a crunch point with personal health, young family, system stress and a low payout. Following his wife’s health journey and their growing interest and passion for human health and food integrity Russell started to introduce some biological practices whilst hiring a Regenerative Farm Coach to support a farm-wide transition. In the transition process Russell identified the need for a change in mindset to support this massive change in their farming system and practices.
Eight years into the Regenerative farming journey and with the farm now fully certified Organic, Russell is also coaching other farmers on this pathway, with hands on practical advice and knowledge based on his own experiences and knowledge acquired along the way.
